Drift Awaaaaaay.....la la la la la
Hi all... can't seem to "Drift" into sleep tonight. So I got to think-in bout how many unique items are being made today out of driftwood. NOTHING seems more "Beachy" then driftwood.
I am lovin the mirrors and the lighting. Above are some great examples of them. Enjoy.......yawn.. I'm drifting off to bed now. BYE!!!

Mirror image
This is a guest suite in a model I did in Naples Florida. Using a mirror, approx, the size of the twin as headboards, gave this look a great feeling, Also the room wasn't large and the depth that they created was Great!!
The mirrors can be found thru "Global Views" one of my favorite resources for models.
I'm feelin................... Blue :)
Most people paint their rooms in neutral colours and rely upon their art, or the odd unusual piece of furniture.
I like to make the walls and floors the focus of the rooms. I would love to try the blue stripes shown below in a kitchen... wouldn't that be KOOOOL!!

Robb & Stucky
I am packing up my office today...why?? Because my Beautiful company that has been in business for over 90 years.. yes that's right , 90 years, has fallen into the hands of liquidators.
It has been a privilege to have been apart of the Design team in the Naples Robb and Stucky Florida showroom. I have had the opportunity to Design the most wonderful homes, villas, condos and models thru this amazing company. The quality of their products, their support staff, their attention to every detail for our clients was above and beyond any other firm I have ever experienced.
As I walk around.. in a fog, looking at the faces of the staff and the clients, each have this look ... is this really happening? I am among them. I wonder why??
I will miss this experience, the people, the Quality and most of all the Robb & Stucky formula in enhancing the clients home. No one has yet.. over the 90 years copied them?? WHY??
I am walking into an unknown future for me as a designer.. but I do know I am taking with me the values and the integrity I have experienced with the staff at Naples R & S. Thank you all for the "ALL" !!

Idea'sfor oldsacks
About 6 months ago.. when the fad hit... i purchased around 8 Antique feed sacks with the thought that I was going to recover my 5 leg chair. Well... if anyone knows me, thoughts and ideas run thru my head and most of the time life and career get in the way. :( Sooo.. 6 months later here I am with 8 feed sacks .. and { Of course} I am OVER the idea to recover the chair. BUT!!!..... Inspiration comes from all venues.
I was surfing and saw this web page. (see link below for full details) I love the idea to use them for fun storage.

Cool huh.. there are so many possibilities for these sacks... so we'll all have to wait and see if this idea comes to fruition in my home?? I'll keep ya posted.
